The Office of the Assistant City Administrator assists the City Administrator in the overall operation, administration and management of the daily operations of the City, and shall act on behalf of the City Administrator in their absence.
The Assistant City Administrator assumes responsibility for the oversight of the daily operations of the Finance Officer, and Public Information and directs press relations.

The Assistant City Administrator reviews all requests for Special Event Permits.

The Assistant City Administrator coordinates with the planners on community events and festivals.
